Roland said little as Pia lead the way to a hotel. Up the elevator, they
arrived on a floor that wasn't just a single room, but a maze of suites,
all joined together through arched doorways. She beckoned them along,
through a room with people enjoying music played on a small stage and
sharing drinks and food. Through a door where people danced and laughed.
She kissed a few people, and Roland was a bit surprised that people
approached to kiss both he and Diane. Everything was decadent, but very
relaxed. He took it all in, thinking he had never before seen such pure
hedonism.
