"It is the jewel of the galaxy," Pia replied with a genuine smile. Diane wanted to laugh at the seriousness with which she said it, but she supposed it was kind of true. Maybe if she'd been from paradise she'd talk about it in that kind of reverent tone too.
Pia continued, "But please, take your seat. I don't mind sharing."
She perched herself on the edge of Diane's chair where there was enough space. "And yes, this is my home. Though we are delighted to share its beauty and pleasures with beings from all worlds."
